networked business initiative platform

FAQ: What is the NBI platform and what can it do for me?

One of the most frequently asked questions to our support is based on understanding why we’re always talking about the NBI platform – and why it’s important as a research partner or business user to understand.

The NBI platform is at the core of everything here at NBI. The platform hosts the tools, the dashboard, the launch sites, the partner sites, and provides the infrastructure to support the NBI Ecosystem of stakeholders.

As a partner or user, you just need to know that the NBI platform consists of the following main aspects, each of which can help you get the very most out of your partnership with NBI:

  • The Partner Site
  • The Launch Site
  • The Capability Assessment tools (i.e. the Omnichannel tool)
  • The Dashboard

The Partner Site is where partners manage their Launch Sites, monitor their respondents and access their own Dashboards. This is also where partners access launch and marketing materials to help them get the most out of their partnerships.

The Launch Site is each partners unique portal to their activated tools. All partners get their own Launch Site, which can be branded and filled with their own information, logo, and social streams. This is where contacts and potential signups and respondents get access to the partners tool and NBI profile, and is particularly useful for driving your own campaigns

The Capability Benchmarking tools ( i.e. the omnichannel tool) is where signups complete a survey, which in turn gives them access to their dashboards and dynamic reports. The Omnichannel capability assessment tool takes about 20-30 minutes to complete. NBI capability benchmarking tools are based on research and developed in cooperation with world renowned experts and academics.

The Dashboard is where respondents access their dynamic reports based on their responses to the assessment tools. Here, respondents can analyze and benchmark their company’s digital potential, strengths and weaknesses. You can also access a wealth of information, data, and videos on the topics related to the tools. It is dynamic in the sense that you can use filters to adjust the views, and it will update every time you update your answers on the survey.
